The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Cardiff (CPSC) is an international medical academic institution which is devoted to the provision of medical and surgical postgraduate education and training. It is affiliated to and endorsed by the Doctors Academy Group of Educational Establishments.
CPSC was established in order to equip physicians and surgeons with intellectual proficiency and practical skills to enhance their clinical acumen and technical versatility, qualities that will directly translate to patient care. Through a variety of structured educational programmes and continued professional development activities, it enables medical professionals at all stages of their career to augment their knowledge, strengthen their competence, and keep abreast of medical advances to ensure the constant furtherance of science knowledge.

What We Do
Offer postgraduate educational and training programmes for doctors-in-training.
Provide CME and CPD events for consultants, general practitioners and senior clinicians.
Support research in medical education through the provision of educational bursaries and grants.
Provide advanced communication and soft skills for doctors at all levels.
Collaborate with hospitals globally in order to structure formal education and training programmes for their medical and allied healthcare professionals.
Provide guidance for small- and medium-sized hospitals (outside the UK) to educate, train and offer CME/CPD programmes for their practicing doctors.
What We Do Not Do
Provide degrees, diplomas or membership by examination*.
Licence medical professionals to practice**.
Play a role in national health policy decision***.
Have an involvement in disciplinary actions.
Offer medical advice to patients.
*We do not provide degrees, diplomas or membership by examination. The provision of diplomas, degrees and postgraduate qualifications in the UK fall within the remit of the Medical Royal Colleges.
